My subjects

Introduction:

I am here to create a blog about my school work. It is called an E-Portfolio. This will talk about my work in each category such as Math, Language Arts, Science, etc. We will read about my projects, such as Thank You ma'am letters,Math equations, and my personal favorite, The Digestive System. You will also take a look at My 2 minutes to make a difference project. Two things I am good at is to make title pages for my subjcts and Phys-Ed. Sadly, I am not to good at Math fractions, and long term projects. I really need to improve my quality in working. I should really spend time working on my work.

Math

Term 1 was a success for me.It was easy and understandable. In math, I learned about proportions, fraction, Pythagoreans, Square roots and other Math things. I enjoyed the Square roots the most because it was easy and fun to do. I also did blogs, which I enjoyed very much. But,I didn’t comment enough on peoples blogs, and on second term I should pay more attention to commenting.I should also re-read my test questions too.I messed up on my tests, even though I knew the answers.Just like our last test, which the answer was 20,but I forgot to x2 and I got 10.I hope to do better in Math next term.I also liked being on Paulo for our Sesame St. video.

Term 2 Reflection
Second term was enjoying. The units were easy and understandable. I may have not done well in Tests and Quizzes, but now I fully understand the concept of volume and surface. The formula's were easier for me to understand. Formulas made it easier on incomplete puzzles, where you knew what to do to complete them, and you would have to find each value of the formula, to substitute them in. Percents although were a little confusing. The hundred grids were a pain. An example of this would be we had to show 0.05 on the grid, and I found it confusing. This was frustrating because I found that their was some hidden way to make it easier to represent it without to equivalent. Overall, I enjoyed the units we did this term, more than the units we did last term.

2 minutes project

My topic for my 2 minutes to make a difference project is child labor. I have three big questions. One of my question is: Determine the purpose of why people use children for specific jobs, and how they can benefit from them? Another big question that I have is: If there is child labor in developed countries, explain how the jobs of the children, can affect their live? Finally the last question that I have is: Compare the similarities and differences of child labor, in developing and developed countries?
